Here at Dest People, we’d been mulling something over for a while. Every day, we work with organisations facing challenges with no easy answers: how to attract and retain talent in an increasingly competitive market; how to integrate technology without losing sight of the human touch; and how to build corporate cultures that stand the test of time. And we knew there were many more professionals asking themselves the same questions, with nowhere to meet and work together on the answers.

We felt that what was lacking was an event designed from the outset to be a genuine working space. Not just a showcase, not just your average event. A place where we can sit down together, have an honest discussion and work together to create something worthwhile. In 2023, we decided to set it up. We called it Galicia Tech.

Galicia Tech is the annual event where we bring together the professionals who are shaping the future of organisations in Galicia. A space where people, businesses and technology come together, engage in open discussion and forge connections that extend beyond the event itself.

We take each edition to a new venue. We have visited Santiago de Compostela, Vigo and A Coruña, and we are continuing our tour of Galicia with the same idea as before: to bring together around a hundred professionals, decision-makers and influential speakers to discuss the challenges that really matter to the business community in our region.
